H1N1 (Swine Flu) Emergency Closing Info.
Below are at-home lesson plans
to be completed in the event of a school closure due to the H1N1 (Swine
Flu) Virus. The plans below are for ONE week, therefore if school were
closed for two weeks they would need to be repeated.
Reading:
Read the next story in your reading textbook a few times throughout the
week. Answer the "Think and Respond" questions at the end of the
selection in complete sentences. Complete the Practice Book pages that
go with the story.
Spelling:
Find your weekly spelling words on the "Spelling" link of
www.MrNale.com. The words
correspond with the weekly story. Complete the spelling Practice Book
pages that contain those words.
Writing:
Write 2 paragraphs about something that interests you. Be sure to have
an opening, a closing, and a title. Check your spelling and punctuation
carefully. Does your story make sense?
Math:
Continue working in your Math Journal. Complete one lesson per day.
